My Experience of Covid-19
During Covid-19, I stayed home and did activities such as: deep cleaning my room, pitching practice, drawing, painting, etc. When we got the notification that school was going to be cancelled for two more weeks, we were at Target and we figured that we would be cooking for two weeks so we had to stock up with a bunch of snacks, food for our meals, and things to do during the two weeks that we couldn’t leave the house.
Who Made the Flag?
I think that Betsy Ross made the flag because in the script that we read it states that Betsy Ross’ grandson and other family members were told some of the stories about the fact that she made the flag. It also says that General Washington asked Betsy Ross if she could make a flag, apart from the British flag, that shows their freedom and independence. General Washington showed her his idea, but she wanted a few changes to it, like the stars points, and how their should only be five points instead of six, like his original idea, or how the flag should be rectangular instead of a square. Another reason is that it says that George Washington went to the same church as Betsy Ross, which might be one of the reasons he might know to go to her earlier, since they had talked about her early troubles in life and how she was a widow at such an early age.

MLK
My favorite MLK quote is “The time is always right to do what is right”.
Why A Day Of Service?
We do a day of service because Martin Luther King wanted us to do a day on instead of a day off, and he said that everyone could find a way to serve their community. For my act of service, I gave a few of my neighbors (including one that I have never met) some cookies for them to enjoy. I also gave them a little bit of a laugh in my opinion since I was wearing a 50’s outfit.
